| They is now closed |
The guild They was closed two days ago due to the guild leader's inability to continue in the position, and further inability to find a suitable replacement.
While the guild technically still exists, all recruitment and raid activities have been suspended permanently. |

| Heroic Naxxramas cleared! |
On our guild raid this sunday, a determined group of first 18, then 19, people battled their way through the spider wing, the plague wing, the military wing, and finished the evening by defeating Patchwerk, leaving only a handful of bosses left for the monday raid.
On monday, we were first 20, then 21, people and we proceeded to kill off the remainder of the construct wing before one-shotting Sapphiron on our first heroic attempt ever. Then it was Kel'Thuzad time, and although he got the best of us on the first attempt, we were victorious on the second! :-) |

| Progress update |
We now have a few more boss kills under our belts, namely:
Malygos (normal): A very persistent group of people took down this nasty blue menace last thursday :-)
Gluth (heroic): We've killed him a couple of times now with 20-ish people in the group :-)
Thaddius (heroic): Finally got our first kill on him last night, with 21 people in the group. Was a close call, but we prevailed in the end :-)
We are still looking to recruit most classes/specs (dps in particular), so feel free to submit an application if you wish to take part in our further progress :-) |

| Progress update |
On our heroic Naxxramas raid last night we started out with clearing the plague wing with 21 people in the group, then we 21-manned The Four Horsemen who we had left in the military wing from sunday's raid, 20-manned Patchwerk, and 19-manned Grobbulus, meaning we now only have Gluth and Thaddius left in the construct wing and all other wings cleared (we 19-manned Gluth to 3% at the end of the raid, but didn't have time for another attempt at the big puppy).
While we seem to be doing okay with understaffed raids, we are very much interested in getting full groups consistently together, so if you want to take part in this, drop us an application :-) |

| Recruitment status update |
We are still very much interested in more quality players to bolster our ranks and participate in our progress.
We still accept applications from all classes, but the following should give a general idea of what we are most interested in:
Druid: 1-2 needed, balance (moonkin) in particular. Feral and restoration will also be considered.
Death Knight: 1-2 needed, all PvE specs will be considered.
Hunter: 1-2 needed, all PvE dps specs will be considered.
Mage: 2-3 needed, all PvE dps specs will be considered.
Paladin: None severely needed, but very good applications may still be considered (all PvE specs).
Priest: 1 shadow will be considered. We are currently full on holy/disc (healing) priests, so will take exceptionally good applications to be considered.
Rogue: 1-2 needed, all PvE dps specs will be considered.
Shaman: 2-3 needed, all PvE specs will be considered.
Warlock: 1-2 needed, all PvE dps specs will be considered.
Warrior: 2-3 needed, PvE dps specs in particular. Protection will also be considered.
Regardless of your class and spec, your gear should be fully gemmed and enchanted properly for your role, and should be of a quality suitable for starting 25 man raids (blues and epics gained from heroics, crafting, reputation rewards, and 10 man raids are okay).
It is highly recommended that you submit your application at a time where you can put sufficient effort into it. We generally prefer long, thorough applications. Too poor applications may be rejected without further notice.
Regarding our progress, we have cleared 10 man Naxx a while ago, and have so far cleared two wings (spider and plague) of 25 man Naxx, although we've so far been raiding it with undermanned groups with 19-20 players. We have the military wing almost cleared (only had one attempt at Four Horsemen so far), and Patchwerk down in the construct wing (Grobbulus on 5% or so).
If the above seems interesting to you, take a while to read our rules and submit an application. We look forward to hearing from you :-) |

| Recruitment reopened |
Recruitment has now been reopened and we are accepting applications from all classes specced for PvE.
Notice, however, that we are more in need of some class/specs combinations than others, but we are always ready to consider very good applications, so feel free to give it a shot regardless ;-)
Our current progress is that we're starting to feel all done with the 10 man content and are ready to make the switch to the 25 man stuff, most likely starting with Obsidian Sanctum and Naxxramas.
You are not required to be in full epics, but you are expected to have put a reasonable amount of effort into gearing up from heroics/10 mans/crafting/rep rewards, etc. prior to applying.
If the above sounds good, make sure to read our rules first and then submit an application if you're still interested after that :-) |

| Recruitment temporarily closed |
Due to the current state of the game and the hastily approaching launch of the Wrath of the Lich King, we have closed recruitment temporarily, meaning that it is currently not possible to submit applications.
In the meantime, feel free to sign up for e-mail notification if you would like us to let you know when recruitment is reopened.
We expect to reopen recruitment around the time we start raiding the WLK content at lvl 80.
Applications already submitted before this was posted will be considered as usual. |

| Recruitment status update |
Yet another recruitment status update; we are still interested in the following:
1 resto shaman
1 elemental shaman
1 mage
We currently consider ourselves full on everything else than the above, but exceptionally good applications may still be considered, just please realise your chances are slim.
The ideal candidate preferably have some 25 man raid experience and full tier 4 or better gear gained through PvE, either drops or badge rewards. Don't bother applying if the majority of your gear has been gained through PvP or is lower quality than tier 4; we prefer tier 5 equivalent or better, but tier 4 is still considered the absolute minimum. You are of course also expected to be specced for PvE raiding.
If this sounds good, please make sure to read our rules thoroughly, submit an application, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible :-) |

| Naj'entus and Kaz'rogal down! |
Yesterday, we took our very first trip into the dreaded Black Temple, for some reason (the reason being someone mumbling frantically about "voices", "dark clerics", and "great loot" - we didn't pay much attention to the first two, but at the mentioning of "great loot", the deal was sealed).
Anyway, it turned out the locals weren't particularly friendly, certainly not this huge spine-throwing naga the lord of the temple had apparently hired as gatekeeper, but once we figured out to throw his damn spines right back at 'im, he went down fast enough and did indeed drop some above-average loot.
The next noteworthy opponent we came across was a huge (and I do really mean huge this time!) giant called Supremus. He didn't seem too bright at first; apparently, he got easily distracted and liked to chase random people around, but at some point it dawned on us that this was part of his strategy and it was working rather well, so in the end we faced defeat with him at 10% or so.
Fortunately, we have other scores to settle that doesn't involve crawling through some dark overlord's sewers, so today we returned to the sunny peaks of Mount Hyjal to lend a hand to our new buddies in the horde encampment. That resulted in another guild first kill when Kaz'rogal was put down like the rabid dog he really is deep down inside - unfortunately, one of his friends, Azgalor, was a lot nastier and he got the best of us this time.
However, two guild first kills in two days is not too shabby, methinks :-) |
