The guild They was started in June 2007, rising from the ashes of the now-closed guild Deus est Machina, by many of the same founders. The intention of the founding members was to create a serious guild focused on raiding and progress, but with a raid schedule that can be combined with having a job and family in real life. A part-time hardcore guild, if you will.
In the early beginning, we relaxed for a while, trying to find ourselves and figure out exactly what we wanted after closing our previous guild. We only recruited players who came highly recommended by existing members and before we knew it, we had Karazhan and Zul'Aman cleared. That made us realise the huge potential of this guild, which in turn made us formalise and streamline the guild to allow for further growth without compromising our values.
We are generally a friendly and humorous bunch who enjoy playing together and have fun while progressing, without compromising high performance, dedication, and efficiency on raids. We have a high level of maturity, most of our members being in the late twenties or early thirties.
